I'm so excited to share this project that has been 6 months in the making.

Erik Blood is a talented music maker and producer in Seattle, WA. He just released a new full length album called Lost in Slow Motion, available in digital, vinyl – and cassette tape! All three mediums feature his new custom wordmark, title and track listing, courtesy of yours truly.

Jane 100

I'm proud to share a custom wordmark I created for a very special project:

Jane100 is a year-long celebration of the life and legacy of Jane Jacobs, the inspiring urban theorist, author and citizen activist who made Toronto her home for nearly 40 years. To mark the occasion of what would have been her 100th year, you’re invited to organize or attend an event that brings Jane’s ideas to life – be it a book club, a block party, a film screening, or a day of community design.
With your help, from May 2016 to May 2017 we will animate Toronto with 100 events that engage citizens in dialogue, action and the spirit of Jane – events that challenge us to see our city from new or overlooked perspectives.

Coralie Bickford-Smith

Last November, I had the pleasure of interviewing book designer Coralie Bickford-Smith at the RGD Design Thinkers conference in Toronto. Ms. Bickford-Smith was a pleasure to chat with, and had lots of great things to say about design, problem solving, and the changes in the publishing industry.
